Fall Loves TAG!

Fall is definitely my favorite season, so to celebrate that I thought I would do the Fall Loves Tag. I was in the middle of taking pictures for a different post for you guys but my battery died, so I thought that a post with no pictures would be better than no post at all! August Faves

I can't believe it's already September! I feel like August flew by! Although I'm not complaining as fall is my favorite season. I can't wait for the beautiful colors of the changing leaves, bonfires, and Friday night football games.
So since August is over that means it's time for August favorites! If you don't know what monthly favorites are, basically you share the products that you really enjoyed using over the previous month. Typically people post their favorites at the end of the month or the beginning of the next month.

What's in my MAC box?

My MAC box came today! YAY! I love seeing those little black boxes waiting for me on my front porch. Today however I happened to be home when it was delivered and I saw the UPS man walk up about 4 feet from my porch and just chuck the box up there. Thankfully nothing was broken, but seriously how much longer would it have taken him to walk the 4 feet and place the box on my porch?
Anyways rant over. Let's see what I ordered! I've been wanting some more neutral shades of eyeshadow from MAC so I placed an order for quite a few.

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipsticks

As of late I have been loving MAC lipsticks. However when I'm not wearing my MAC lippies I've been wearing my Rimmel Moisture Renew lipsticks. They are, as the name implies, moisturizing and they have good color payoff. Another reason I love them is because of their packaging. The bright purple tubes really stand out when I'm searching through my make up drawer trying to decide on a lip color.

My Mac Neutrals Palette

Typically when I want to wear eyeshadow, I use mainly neutral shades. Of course my favorite eyeshadows are from MAC. They have a great variety of textures and finishes, and a huge range of colors.

NYX Lipliners

Lately I've been exploring the lipstick and lipliner side of the makeup world. My favorite lipliners that I've discovered, so far, are by NYX. They're creamy but they don't dry out my lips. They have a nice range of colors and are reasonably priced.
I only own two of the shades but you can bet I'll be picking up more in the future!

Makeup Challenge: July-December 2011

Today I was looking at the color stories for all of the upcoming fall collections and was thinking about how much I wanted. Then I thought about how much makeup and other body products I have that I don't use anymore. So I started a challenge for myself, somewhat similar to a Project Pan, but easier since I don't have a huge makeup collection.
The challenge I set for myself is to completely use up 15 products by December 31st, 2011. If I don't finish the products by then, I won't allow myself to purchase anymore makeup or body products until I finish what's left of the 15.
